Chava Alberstein (hebraico: חוה אלברשטיין‎, nascida em 8 de dezembro de 1947 em Szczecin, uma cidade alemã, anexada pela Polônia em 1945) foi para Israel com 4 anos de idade e cresceu em Kiryat Chaim. Ela é uma cantora, letrista, compositora, arranjadora musical e atriz. É uma das mais importantes cantoras israelenses, com uma carreira de mais de 40 anos.

Chava Alberstein (Hebrew: חוה אלברשטיין‎, born December 8, 1947 in Szczecin, Poland) is an Israeli singer, lyricist, composer, musical arranger, and actress. She is one of the most important Israeli singers, with a career spanning more than 40 years.

Born in Stettin, a German city annexed by Poland in 1945 (now north-eastern Poland), Chava Alberstein came to Israel at age four and grew up in Kiryat Chaim. In 1964, when she was 17, a nightclub appearance in Jaffa led to a CBS recording contract. She was drafted into the Israel Defense Force in 1965 and became one of the many Israeli artists to rise to stardom by entertaining the troops. She has released more than 50 albums. She is one of the more famous Israelis to record in Yiddish as well as Hebrew and Arabic. Alberstein's husband is the filmmaker Nadav Levitan, who wrote all the lyrics on her "End of the Holiday" album. She wrote music for some of Levitan's films. She is one of the recipients of the Kinor David (David's Harp) Prize.
